Excise and State Taxes Department, Leh, Conducts Massive Cleanliness Drive

Leh, September 29, 2024: A large-scale cleanliness drive was organized by the Excise and State Taxes Department in Leh on September 28, 2024 under the banner of “Swachhta Hi Seva 2024”. The event focused on cleaning the office premises and surrounding areas. This initiative highlighted the significance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.

The event saw active participation from senior officers, including Assistant Commissioner Fesal Iqbal Tantray, State Taxes Officer Leh Mohammad Yousuf, and Excise and Taxation Officer Zulfikar Ali from the Excise Range Leh-Kargil, along with all the officials of the department. In addition, all the participants took pledge to incorporate cleanliness into their daily routines, showcasing a collective commitment to foster a cleaner, healthier environment.

The department aims to support the national mission of Swachh Bharat and promote sustainable cleanliness efforts in the region.
