Department of Zoology, CUJ Hosts Induction Programme for New BSc (Hons) MSc Integrated Students

Jammu, October 10: Department of Zoology, Central University of Jammu today organized Induction Programme 2024 for the newly admitted students to the B.Sc. (Hons.) M.Sc. Zoology Integrated Programme in the Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium of the campus. 

Hon’able Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, Prof. Sanjeev Jain was the patron while Prof. Sunil Dhar, Dean, School of Life Sciences presided the event.

Head, Department of Zoology, Dr. Ashok Kumar Yadav at the very outset congratulated the students on becoming a part of one of the elitest institutes of the country. Dr. Yadav thanked the hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain for his vision and constant pursuit of leading the university with passion, integrity, commitment to excellence and dedication to innovation combined with student success has transformed the university into a beacon of knowledge, inspiring all to strive for greatness. Dr. Yadav also put on record that the B.Sc. (Hons.) M.Sc. Zoology Integrated Programme in Zoology is the most popular course in the whole University receiving ground breaking applications every year. 

The chief guest of the Induction Programme, Prof. Sunil Dhar, Dean, School of Life Sciences congratulated and blessed the students and advised them to avail the opportunity to learn and excel and enrich their knowledge as students of the University. Students were presented with university logo backpacks as a token of love and blessings from the department. 

A formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Anjali Dhar, Assistant Professor of the Department. Other Faculty members such as Dr. Dhanananjay Kumar, Dr. Shvetambri Jasrotia and Dr. Vinita Sharma were present at the event to welcome the students.
