GDCW Kathua Celebrates International Girl Child Day with Inspiring Programme

KATHUA, October 10: In a collaborative effort by the Women Development Cell and CASH Committee, Government Degree College for Women (GDCW), Kathua, marked International Girl Child Day on October 9, 2024.

The event, organized in partnership with the Social Welfare Department, featured College Principal Dr. Savi Behl as the chief guest. In her keynote address, Dr. Behl emphasized the crucial role of education in empowering girls to become leaders in their communities.

The students enriched the event with impactful speeches, poems, and songs, reflecting the theme of empowerment. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Amita Dua and Dr. Rachna, with the participation of esteemed faculty members.
