Poster of ‘Insaaf’ movie denouncing ‘Rape’, its repercussions released by Sat Sharma

Cinema role to aware society necessary to prevent rape, ensuring safety of women: Sat Sharma

JAMMU, October 14: Poster of ‘Insaaf’ a movie exposing the horrible experience of rape and the subsequent repercussions was released at the BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu by the party working president, Sat Sharma.

Sat Sharma, Working President, of J&K BJP, accompanied by party Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, senior leader Parduman Singh, Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, and other functionaries of the party released the poster of the ‘Insaaf’ movie in the presence of entire production team.

Sat Sharma appreciated the efforts of the ‘Insaaf’ film unit in bringing out a movie showcasing the social evil in the society where we claim to be modern and educated. He said that such heinous crimes do occur in the time when women are alone or helpless and asked for a sensible society along with the stricter implementation of laws.

Sat Sharma further urged society to be the flagbearer of social change and educate the society to respect the women, who, according to the Hindu tradition is the ‘Swaroop’ of ‘Maa Bhagwati’. The rape is a slap on the face of humanity by the humans themselves, he added.

At the same time, Sat Sharma also batted for the quick disposal of such cases to give justice to the rape victims.

The movie is produced under the banner of ‘Khwaish Gupta Production’ which has the distinction of having produced the movies on the social evils like dowery named ‘Kupratha’ and likewise.

Khwaish Gupta has written and acted as the female lead in the movie. The Story and the Concept of the movie is also by Khwaish Gupta.

Naresh Kohli and Chandan Mandal have worked as the male lead in the movie.

Shivdeep Gupta and Priya Gupta are the producers of the movie. Psycho Brothers as the Director group and Cameo Films as the DOP. Psycho Brothers Studios did the editing and the Audio Production. Poster by NK Creations. Lakhwinder and Pratham have contributed as the Camera Assistants.

Khwaish Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, said that rape victims often go through a lot more than physical torture and appealed to society to create awareness so that no one should experience this horrible misfortune. She also extended her special thanks to the J&K Police and the KD Hospital for their genuine help in the production of the movie showcasing the sufferings of the rape victims.
