JCB, 5 Dumpers, 2 Trucks involved in illegal mining seized in Poonch

POONCH, February 25: On the direction of District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet, a team of Mining department with coordination of SDM Surankote seized/fined three vehicles at Bufliaz, Tehsil Surankote.

During the raid a heavy excavator, 02 trucks of Limestone involved in illegal mining were seized.

In addition to this five Dumpers,  loaded with minor minerals without E-challan, were also seized.

After confiscating the vehicles, the DMO Javid Iqbal handed over the same to the police for safe custody.
