Career Counseling Awareness programme held at DIET Shopian
SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 18: A one-day awareness programme on Guidance and Career Counseling was held at DIET Shopian, where around 100 students from secondary and senior secondary schools actively participated.
The programme aimed to provide insights into various career paths, empowering students to make informed decisions about their future.
Dr. Mohammad Yousuf, Senior Faculty Member, DIET Shopian, threw light on the importance of career counseling and how it serves as a game-changer for today’s youth, helping them break free from traditional career choices and pursue their dreams with confidence.
During the session, District Information Officer (DIO) Shopian, Showkat Hussain Ganie (JKAS) delivered a motivational speech, encouraging students to take charge of their career choices and make use of the resources provided.
The session also featured presentations from DIET faculty members, offering detailed information and guidance on various career options available after secondary and senior secondary education.
These sessions were designed to educate students about the wide array of career opportunities available to them, enabling them to choose paths aligned with their interests and abilities.
