One-Day Capacity Building Program organized under Mission YUVA at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, OCTOBER 19: A one-day capacity building program was conducted today under the ambitious Mission YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) in the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal.


The program was focused on the strategic framework of Project YUVA, implementation modalities, and the roles and responsibilities of officers involved.


The program, organized by the District Employment and Counselling Centre Ganderbal in collaboration with the District

Administration, brought together various officers including Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Gulzar Ahmad along with AD Employment, Beenish Wani, Block Development Officers, Child Development Project Officers and experts from various sectors.


The day-long capacity building program focused on enhancing their knowledge of government schemes, financial management and marketing strategies.


Subject matter experts and resource persons delivered insightful presentations on start-up incubation, business plan development, and access to credit through different government initiatives.


Speaking at the event, the ADDC emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship for local economic growth and job creation. He encouraged the youth to take full advantage of the government support available under Mission YUVA and work towards building sustainable and scalable enterprises.


The participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain practical insights into starting and growing businesses.


The capacity building program concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where the participants had the chance to clarify their doubts and seek guidance on the challenges they face in their entrepreneurial journeys.
