FICCI FLO JKL Organizes Health Camp Under ‘Har Ghar Swasth’ Initiative at Four A Resort, Birpur

Jammu, October 22, 2024 – FICCI FLO JKL, in partnership with SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Four A Resort, and PREVEST DenPRO, successfully conducted a comprehensive health camp at Birpur, Jammu. This event was part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Swasth’ initiative by FICCI FLO JKL, aimed at delivering affordable healthcare services to rural communities.

The camp saw the participation of over 150 individuals from surrounding rural areas, who benefited from expert medical consultations, health check-ups, testing, and free distribution of medicines. A key feature of this camp, coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, was the deployment of a fully equipped mammography van provided by Narayana. The van offered free mammography services to women, with instant reports issued on-site, ensuring timely diagnostics and encouraging early detection of breast cancer.

Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson FICCI FLO JKL, engaged with participants and encouraged them to avail themselves of various government healthcare schemes. She expressed gratitude to Mrs. Sanya Bansal and Mrs. Varsha Bansal, Directors of Four A, for facilitating the camp. The event provided specialized services in orthopedics, cardiology, ophthalmology, dental care, and general medicine. Esteemed doctors from Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, including Dr. Sushant Kumar (Cardiology) and Dr. Imran Ganai (Orthopedics), conducted necessary medical checkups and prescribed free medications. Dr. Shiva Gupta from PREVEST DenPRO also provided complete dental check-up and distributed dental kits to attendees.

Another highlight of the camp was the state-of-the-art Volvo medical bus from Narayana Hospital, equipped with X-ray, ECG, and blood testing facilities. The dedicated medical team ensured every patient received thorough health evaluations and consultations tailored to their diagnoses.

FICCI FLO JKL is committed to organizing more health camps to reach rural households with quality healthcare services.
