DC Samba chairs District Rent Assessment Committee meeting

SAMBA, OCTOBER 22: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Rajesh Sharma, chaired the District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) meeting here today in the Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex, Nandani Hills.

A total of 12 rent cases were reviewed during the meeting, involving buildings rented by School Education, Handicrafts, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Health and Police departments. The committee conducted detailed evaluations, ensuring that the rent rates proposed were in line with current market values and that the requirements of each department were properly considered.

After thorough discussions, nine (09) cases were approved for finalization, while three (03) were deferred due to technical issues that require further examination.

The meeting was attended by key district officials, including DC Excise Sanjay Gupta, ADC Jagdish Singh, ACR, CMO, SDM, XENs, and other concerned officers.
