District-Level Science and Maths Quiz Competition Concludes Successfully

Leh, October 24, 2024: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh organized the District Level Science and Maths Quiz Competition at Paras Hall, Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Leh.

Teams that secured the first position in the Zonal Level Quiz Competition qualified for this prestigious event, with one team from each zone participating in both Junior and Senior categories. A total of six teams competed at each level.

Chief Education Officer Leh, Sh. Sonam Wangchuk, attended as the chief guest and commended participants for their enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
At Senior Level Government Higher Secondary School Chuchot secured the 1st position winning a cash prize of ₹15,000. Government Higher Secondary School Diskit and Government Higher Secondary School Skurbuchan secured 2nd position and 3rd position respectively winning a cash prize of ₹10,000 and ₹7,000. At Junior Level, KGBV Nyoma secured 1st position winning a cash prize of ₹15,000 while Government Middle School Taknak and Government Middle School Shachhukul secured 2nd position and 3rd position winning ₹10,000 and ₹7,000 respectively.

Sh. Sonam Wangchuk distributed prizes and certificates to the winning teams, congratulating them on their achievements. He also extended his congratulations to all the participants for their efforts and for delivering a close contested competition.

Principal DIET Leh, Smt. Deldan Angmo, expressed gratitude to participants, escort teachers, and distinguished guests along with the Chief Guest for their valuable time and encouragement.
