DC Rajouri listens, redresses issues of Baila Colony residents
RAJOURI, OCTOBER 25: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today visited Ward No. 02, Baila Colony, as part of an initiative to address public grievances at their doorsteps and foster a direct connection between the administration and the community.
Accompanied by a team of officers, DC Sharma engaged in meaningful dialogue with residents to understand their concerns and assured prompt redressal of issues raised.
The DC inquired about issues related to basic infrastructure, water supply, sanitation and other civic amenities. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to ensuring provision of all essential services to people in every corner of the district and emphasized the importance of community cooperation in sustaining improvements.
Interacting with the youth of the area, the DC highlighted the district administration’s focus on combating drug abuse. He encouraged young individuals to stay vigilant and resist falling into the trap of substance abuse, urging them to stand united against this growing menace. Stressing the significance of education as a pathway to progress, he advised the youth to pursue their academic and career goals actively and expressed the administration’s readiness to support them in every possible way.
