Member of Parliament Shri Mohmad Haneefa Jan visits Nubra Valley

Leh, October 26, 2024: Hon’ble Member of Parliament Mohmad Haneefa Jaan visited several villages in Nubra Valley, including Thang, Tyakshi, Turtuk and Bogdang village today on 26 October. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ghulam Mohamad, Chief Executive Officer Tsering Angchok, and Heads of Departments of the Nubra Subdivision.

During his visit, he interacted with the villagers, listening to their concerns, issues, and community needs. Local residents raised various issues and shared their demands, highlighting the challenges faced by the community. He also visited local facilities such as the Higher Secondary School Tyakshi.
In Turtuk he visited the Higher secondary school, the Primary Health Centre, Turtuk Valley School and Higher Secondary School Bogdang and interact with public to assess the infrastructure and services available to the residents.

Expressing gratitude for being elected as Member of Parliament, he assured the villagers that he is committed to address their needs and prioritizing solutions to village issues. He thanked the community for their trust and support.
