Dewan Devi Public School Jammu celebrates Diwali

JAMMU, October 28: To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, Dewan Devi Public / Playway School had a celebration in school premises today.  Teachers explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.  A puppet show showing Ramayana story has also been organized.

Various cultural programmes  and activities were organized in the school premises .Students of kindergarten dressed themselves in colourful dresses to enjoy this festival. Also Students celebrated  Diwali by decorating ‘DIYAS’ and by making a beautiful ‘RANGOLI’. Later,  the  principal of the school congratulated everyone for the great effort. Both Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.
