DC Shopian Inspects Keller Sub-District Hospital and Evaluates Healthcare Services
SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar conducted a visit to Keller, where he inspected the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) to evaluate the healthcare facilities and staff attendance.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the hospital’s overall operations & management of the hospital and assessed staff attendance.
He inquired about the availability of staffing and the maintenance of a proper roster to ensure 24/7 service availability. Staff members arriving late were cautioned against such behavior.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Block Medical Officer (BMO) to prepare a report on absentee staff, emphasizing that disciplinary measures would be enforced against those who arrive late or are absent without authorization.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner engaged with both staff and community members to gather insights regarding their concerns and to evaluate the availability of essential facilities, medications, and infrastructure.
This visit aimed to enable the administration to promptly address any immediate deficiencies in healthcare delivery.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the staff to demonstrate unwavering dedication to enhancing healthcare services and to foster public trust in health institutions by adhering to punctuality and fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
The Tehsildar of Keller and other officials accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during this visit.
