Cong hits out govt approach to minority employees in Kashmir
JAMMU, December 23: Congress has hit out at the government for its approach towards the minority employees in Kashmir that of PM package and reserved category in Kashmir and accused BJP of total failure to ensure redressal of their genuine grievances.
Reacting to the recent announcement of the LG administration to stop the salaries of the agitating employees, JKPCC said government wants to starve them as a means of corecion to force them surrender or leave their jobs, when they face threat to their lives.
The government fails to appreciate that these employees served in Kashmir valley despite all routine odd situations but never raised any such demand on mass basis but now have been forced to raise the demands for relocation due to deterioration in situation in the wake of targetted and selective killings, said JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma.
The government must take cognizance of the extra ordinary situation and aceede to their demands , atleast ,till situation improves, as they can’t be left at the mercy of the deadly designs of terrorists.
Taking a dig at the BJP for its total failure to ensure the redressal of the genuine demands of these agitating employees and various other sections, Congress said why do they give false assurances if no no body listens to them in the government or high command.
