ADM Jammu finalises arrangements for JKSSB exam
JAMMU, NOVEMBER 23: Additional District Magistrate Jammu, Ansuya Jamwal today presided over a meeting to finalise preparations for the JKSSB constable recruitment examination, set to take place on December 1, 2024.
The examination, spanning 144 centres across 137 locations in Jammu district, involves meticulous planning to ensure smooth conduct.
The ADM outlined roles and responsibilities to a gathering of senior officers, including RTO Jammu Pankaj Bagotra, AC Nazool Vinay Sharma, SP South Ajay Sharma, Addl. SP Traffic, SSB members Simarjeet and Neha, nodal officers and magistrates. All SDMs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and observers were also present.
Magistrates and Centre Superintendents were instructed to maintain strict coordination for efficient management. Observers, supported by Zonal Education Officers, were tasked with pre-exam inspections to ensure readiness at all venues.
Deployment of invigilation staff, roll number displays and seating plans were reviewed comprehensively.
Security arrangements received special attention, with detailed frisking protocols using metal detectors. Female candidates would be frisked at designated points and no unauthorised personnel or electronic devices would be allowed near the examination venues. Police teams, supervised by SSP Jammu, were directed to ensure safe transportation of examination materials and their secure handling.
