Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets

New Delhi, Nov 25 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose Rs 2.15 to Rs 246.10 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December increased Rs 2.15 or 0.88 per cent to Rs 246.10 per kg in 3,416 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
