The Quarry is a horror survival game created by Supermassive Games and published by 2K. It is a successor of Until Dawn which was only available for PS4, leaving no room for crossplay. On the other hand, The Quarry is released for multiple platforms, and from the beginning, it supports multiplayer and Co-Op play.

The Quarry is the story of 9 teenagers who have to survive a night at Hackett’s Quarry against supernatural powers. With so many characters and different storylines, it would be amazing if players from different consoles or PC could play together. Does The Quarry Have Crossplay?

As of now, The Quarry doesn’t support crossplay. On the official webpage of The Quarry game, developers have stated that The Quarry only supports multiplayer on same-generation consoles means if you are playing on PlayStation 4 and your friend plays on PlayStation 5 then you can’t play in multiplayer mode. You and your friend are required to have the same generation console to enjoy the multiplayer mode, and this thing applies to the Xbox consoles too. You can’t play multiplayer on Xbox One with Xbox Series X.

With this limitation, it is a tough challenge for the developer to roll out the crossplay feature to The Quarry in the near future.
