‘Housefull 5’ last shooting schedule begins

Mumbai, Nov 27 (PTI) The filming on the last schedule of “Housefull 5” has kickstarted, the makers announced on Wednesday.

The fifth part of the popular comedy franchise is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani of “Dostana” fame and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

“Housefull 5” features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, and Nikitin Dheer, among others.

In an Instagram post, production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment shared the shooting update along with a picture of the ensemble cast.

“Cruising through the last schedule of our cinematic journey! #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull5 Directed by @Tarunmansukhani,” the post read.

“Housefull 5” is packed with five times the entertainment and it is one of the big-budget films shot in a luxurious cruise starting from London to France to Spain and back to the UK, a press release issued on behalf of the makers stated.

The franchise started with 2010’s “Housefull”, which was followed by three sequels — “Housefull 2” (2012), “Housefull 3” (2016) and “Housefull 4” (2019).

“Housefull 5” is scheduled to be released on June 6, 2025.
