REASI, NOVEMBER 28: An awareness camp was organized today in Panchayat Salal under the Poshan Project Arnas to disseminate information about various welfare schemes of the Poshan Department.
The programme was spearheaded by Programme Officer Mohammad Anwar Banday in collaboration with the Child Development Project Office (CDPO) Arnas.
The camp aimed to raise awareness among Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), Helpers and the community about the intake of proper nutrition and the implementation of Poshan Abhiyaan schemes. Banday also interacted with Workers and Helpers from the adjoining panchayats, addressing their issues and concerns.
The PO emphasized the critical role of Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) in promoting health and nutrition. He urged the Workers and Helpers to ensure the smooth functioning of AWCs and the proper distribution of supplementary nutrition to beneficiaries, including children, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
The camp concluded with a discussion on best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the Poshan Abhiyaan, ensuring that no beneficiary is left out. The efforts of the Poshan Project Arnas team were highly appreciated by the participants, who expressed their commitment to implementing the schemes effectively.
