In an interview, Jun further explained that the developers are working to make Sparking Zero crossplay available soon in mid-2025. However the team is facing so many technical difficulties with different platforms, so the chances of releasing full crossplay support are thin.

Is Sparking Zero Co-Op?

Yes, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero supports co-op or multiplayer. You can play co-op in 4 modes: Battle Mode, Custom Battle, Tournament Mode, and Ranked Match. You can join or create online matches against your friends in this mode.

However, local multiplayer in split screen is only supported in Hyperbolic Time Chamber. You cannot play local multiplayer in other stages such as Satan City and Planet Namek. Sparking Zero is available for Windows PC, Xbox Series S/X, and PS5 only.
