Copper futures gain on higher spot demand

New Delhi, Nov 29 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday rose 0.26 per cent to Rs 809.50 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery increased by Rs 2.10 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 809.50 per kg in a business turnover of 8,086 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
