DDC Poonch reviews performance indicators across key sectors

POONCH, DECEMBER 24: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Vikas Kundal today chaired a crucial meeting in the DC Office Complex to review the key performance indicators across various sectors in the district.


The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Poonch, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP), District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Lead District Manager (LDM), and other district and sectoral officers.


The meeting discussed and deliberated on the progress and implementation of the District Indicators Framework, a comprehensive initiative aimed at assessing and improving the overall development and well-being of the district. The framework encompasses critical areas such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, social welfare, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.


By analyzing a set of indicators and performance metrics, the framework provides a holistic view of the district’s progress and identifies areas for targeted intervention and improvement.


DDC Vikas Kundal emphasized the importance of the District Indicator Framework as a tool for effective governance and evidence-based decision-making. He highlighted the necessity of regular monitoring and evaluation to track the district’s development trajectory and ensure the successful implementation of various government programs and policies.


The DDC urged all sectoral officers to achieve their 100 percent targets within the designated time frame. He also stressed the need for continued collaboration, coordination, and competence among departments to achieve desired outcomes and enhance the quality of life for residents.


The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to work together in synergy to improve the district’s development indicators and enhance the overall quality of life for the residents of Poonch.
