CRIME BRANCH BOOKED 10 PERSONS FOR USING FAKE DOCUMENTS.

Jammu, Jan 11 : Crime Branch (CB) has booked ten persons including three
Ex/serving officials viz. Deputy Inspector of fisheries department, former Forestor
and a Head Constable of IRP for using fake qualification certificates to get
government jobs & promotional benefits and seven persons for using forged
document before the Ld. court of law.

On the complaint of one Shokat Ali S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Bani Disrict kathua, a
case has been registered against Ex-Deputy Inspector fisheries department Mohd.
Farid R/o Kathua for using fake school leaving certificate of 8 th class for getting job
in fisheries department. On the communication of Divisonal Forest Officer Jammu,
on the basis of complaint submitted by Parveen Kumar S/o Pathu Ram R/o Thandi
Choi, an FIR has been registered against Ex-Forestor Raghubir Singh R/o Akhnoor,
District Jammu for using fake graduation marksheets to get promotion as Deputy
Forester. On the communication of commandant IR-15 th battalion Jammu on the
basis of grievance lodged by complainant Lal Hussain, case has been registered
against IRP HC Mohd Munshi R/o Rajouri for using fake qualification certificate to
get government job in J&K Police department. On the directions of Ld. Court of CJM
Jammu issued on the complaint of one Mohd. Yasin R/o Tarha Morha Salli, Tehsil
Dansal District Jammu, an FIR has been registered for preparing and using
fake/forged compromise agreement in the Court of Ld. Sub-Registrar Munsiff,
Jammu against seven persons namely (1) Abdul Karim (2) Mohd. Yousaf (3) Mohd.
Hussain (4) Hussain Mohd. (5) Abdul Gafoor all residents of Kupar Nagrota Jammu (6)
Nazir Ahmed resident of Katal Batal Jammu (7) Sadiq Mohd. resident of Paloura
upper Gujjar Mohalla Jammu.

Senior Superintendent of Police Crime Jammu, Benam Tosh confirmed that four
cases FIR No. 01/2025, FIR No. 02/2025, FIR No. 03/2025 and FIR No. 04/2025, have
been registered at Police station EOW, CBJ and investigations have been started to
unravel further detailed facts in each case.
