9th Armed Forces Veterans Day Celebrated at Tanda Military Station, Akhnoor

January 14, 2025- The 9th Armed Forces Veterans Day was celebrated with great fervor at Tanda Military Station in Akhnoor. The event was attended by Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, Lieutenant Governor of J&K Shri Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister of J&K Shri Omar Abdullah, General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff and many other senior army and civil officials.

* Five Junior Division Cadets from 2 J&K BN NCC and five Junior Wing Cadets from 2 J&K Girls BN NCC actively participated in the event, accompanied by their ANOs. The NCC cadets played a significant role In the event, undertaking ushering duties for the Veer Naris, disabled veterans and other veterans.

* Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, ADG JK&L Dte NCC, interacted with the ANOs and cadets and lauded their commitment to the event. Their participation was a testament to the NCC’s efforts in shaping the youth into responsible and patriotic citizens.
