Block Diwas: Kathua Admin convenes public grievances redressal camp at Panchayat Jandore
KATHUA, JANUARY 15: Additional Deputy Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kathua Surender Mohan Sharma today presided over a Block Diwas program at Panchayat Jandore, Block Keerian Gandyal, to address public grievances and concerns.
The program was attended by Ex-PRIs, social activists, and individuals who highlighted various issues, including early completion of JJM works, speeding of various work undertaken under Capex.
The other main issues highlighted during the programme include the early completion of PMGSY Roads and improvement in road connectivity.
While addressing the gathering, the ADDC said the object of holding Public Outreach Programme under Block Diwas is to reach out to the people and listen to their grievances besides extending arrays of services and knowledge about different government schemes at the doorsteps of the people.
ADDC further appealed to the people present to take maximum benefits of the various Government beneficiary oriented welfare Schemes like PMAY. PM Matru Vandana Yojana, Mission YUVA, Marriage Assistance Scheme etc.
ADDC assured the public that all genuine issues would be addressed with the active intervention of concerned departments.
Beneficiaries of different government schemes narrated their success stories explaining the importance of getting insight about different schemes during special camps as well as during Block Diwas.
Among others present were Project Officer ICDS, ACD, Chief Medical Officer Kathua, Chief Agricultural Officer Kathua, Tehsildar Kathua, XEN RDD, AD Food, DSWO, ACP, BDO Keerian Gandyal and other district and sectoral officers.
