Army Day celebrated with enthusiasm at SBI RSETI Ramban

RAMBAN, JANUARY 15: The State Bank of India (SBI) Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Ramban under the Guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, celebrated Army Day with great enthusiasm at its campus. The event was organized in collaboration with trainees of the ongoing Women’s Tailor Training Program and the RSETI staff.


The celebration was graced by Retd Subedar Major Jagir Singh Raju of the 5 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished participants included Vijay Kumar from DIC Ramban, and members of the media.

Director RSETI Ramban, S. Harvinder Singh, warmly welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of commemorating the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Army.
Retd. Subedar Major Jagir Singh Raju shared his inspiring experiences from the Siachen Glacier War of 1984 with Pakistan, recounting tales of unparalleled valor and resilience. His accounts left the audience deeply moved and imbued with patriotic pride.


The trainees actively participated in the celebration with speeches and songs. Shabnam Bano, Muskan Akhter, and Insha Bano eloquently expressed their admiration for the armed forces through heartfelt speeches. Patriotic songs by Nazia Ashraf, Fazika Kousar, and Sheesla Devi added a spirit of nationalism to the event. In her address and thanks on behalf of the trainees, Mushaida Bano expressed gratitude to the guests and organizers.


Senior Faculty Amrik Singh delivered the formal vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, RSETI staff, and trainees in making the event a memorable success.


The achievements and activities of RSETI were also highlighted by the speakers on the occasion.
