KCPS CONDUCTS POCSO SESSION FOR THE SUPPORT STAFF
KC Public School recently organized a workshop on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses
(POCSO) Act for the support staff of the school. The workshop aimed to educate and empower the
support staff on identifying and reporting instances of child abuse and ensuring a safe and secure
learning environment for the students.
The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Amarendra Kumar Mishra, Principal along with Mr.
Sanjay Pandey , Vice Principal of KC Public School. Ms. Sofia Rana, the headmistress also provided
some valuable inputs. The workshop covered various aspects of the POCSO Act, including
understanding the definition of sexual offenses against children, recognizing signs of abuse,
reporting procedures, punishments and providing support to victims. The training session provided
valuable insights and guidance to the support staff.
“We believe that ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is of utmost importance. By
organizing this workshop, we are equipping our support staff with the necessary knowledge and
tools to protect our students from any form of harm or abuse,” said Mr. Mishra.
The workshop was well received by the support staff, who expressed their gratitude for the
opportunity to enhance their understanding of child protection laws and protocols. KC Public School
remains committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all students and will continue
to conduct such training programs to raise awareness and prevent instances of child abuse.
