Sunil Sharma criticizes Dr. Farooq Abdullah for contradictory statements

Urges leaders to stop misleading J&K people

Under the exemplary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is in the safest hands and faces no internal or external threats, stated Sunil Sharma, MLA and Leader of Opposition, Jammu & Kashmir.

Responding to statements made by Dr. Farooq Abdullah, NC President, Sharma asserted that while the nation stands strong, real internal challenges arise from leaders who make misleading statements and spread misinformation.

Sharma criticized Dr. Farooq Abdullah for making contradictory statements in different regions according to his suitability. While Dr. Farooq delivers one statement in Delhi, he delivers another in Jammu, and yet another while in Kashmir. He urged the senior leader of the National Conference to reflect on his past statements made during the elections and compare them with his current rhetoric.

“If politicians like Dr. Farooq stop lying and adopt the same line at different platforms, perhaps the people of J&K may finally experience peace, harmony, and prosperity,” said Sunil Sharma.

“Since the people of Jammu and Kashmir are politically very conscious now, they know the depth of the leaders who speak differently according to the place and situation for their own specific benefits. So, it will be a futile exercise for the senior leader of NC to mislead the population of Jammu-Kashmir with his self-contradictory statements,” said Sharma.

Sunil Sharma further advised Dr Farooq Abdullah that he should concentrate on the working of National Conference government and advise the Chief Minister as well as Minister to work for mitigating the problems of the people and implement the promises made in the election Manifesto.

“Your lies are obstructing the right of J&K people to live peaceful, and prosperous lives,” he concluded.
