In 1996, Philip Pilmar was in the spotlight because of the murder of his father, Howard Pilmar. Now that when the family has gotten a little better, thanks to Netflix’s Homicide series Philip Pilmar comes into the light again.

King Group and Philip’s Coffee owner Howards is one of the well renowned men in New York. His murder sent a shockwave to plenty of people in the industry. After her death, long court case trials broke down the family mentally, physically, and financially. Moreover, no culprit was convicted or caught; there was no sign of a scuffle or forced entry, and not a single thing was missing from the office not even a single penny.

But after thoroughly searching the office, cops found a drop of blood that matched Philip Pilmar’s uncle Evan Wald, who visited his dad along with his mother Roslyn for a meeting before the murder.

He was born and brought up in a wealthy family and lives in the East Side of NY City. There is no shortage of anything in the concrete jungle he is living in. But in 1996, when Philip’s father was murdered, he was just 10 years old. After the murder, Rosyln took care of Philip and sent him to the London School of Economics. After he came back, he reopened the case of her father and in 2019, Evan and Roslyn were convicted of Howard’s murder. This incident also shook Philip that the person who loved him so much was responsible for his father’s murder.
