DC Poonch reviews progress of NABARD-RIDF projects

POONCH, FEBRUARY 07: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting to review the physical and financial progress of the NABARD-RIDF initiatives in the district. The meeting focused on appraisal of infrastructure improvements in underserved areas, emphasizing the importance of timely and quality construction.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed progress of work on roads, issuing strict instructions to the Executing department regarding adherence to construction standards and timeline, stating that any negligence would not be tolerated.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineers to compile and submit a list of pending dispute cases from respective divisions to his office promptly. He also instructed Sub Divisional Magistrates to conduct on-site visits to facilitate dispute resolutions.

SDM Mendhar and SDM Surankote participated virtually, providing detailed updates on the ongoing works and also briefed the dispute cases in their respective divisions.
