ESIC and EPFO held together outreach programme at Leh on Feb 27
J&K Feb 27: In a significant step towards enhancing the social security provisions for its members, EPFO and ESIC have come together and successfully organised Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 and Suvidha Samagam programme at The Grand Dragon, Leh, Ladakh on February 27. A special awareness campaign and grievance redressal programme was conducted

The event was presided by Dr. Saurabh Sadhotra(ESIC) who addressed the grievances of workers and employer while providing essential handholding support. On behalf of EPFO Shri Pritesh Parihar highlighted key themes such as grievance filling mechanisam, UAN Activation, E-nomination and other online services.
Members were also apprised about the enhanced benefits under the Employees’ Deposit Linked Scheme ,1976. The even witnessed active participation from the stakeholders along with the beneficiaries from diverse sectors. Dr. Saurabh Sadhotra(ESIC) also emphasized the importance of extending the social security benefits to the eligible employees from the beginning of their employment. The Staff of ESIC Mr Susheel Kumar (Staff Nurse), Mr Bhanu Pratap (Phramacist ), Mr Vikas Kumar Kumar were also present on the occasion.
The programme also focused on initiatives line e-nomination, online claim filling and employer dashboards, ensuring robust exchange of information and services to stakeholders. The EPFO and ESIC encouraged all the participants to continue promoting the social security awareness and maximize the benefits available under the respective acts for the welfare of employees across the region.
