5th District Level Cooperative Development Committee Meeting held at Srinagar

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 27: A meeting of the District Cooperative Development Committee (DCDC) was held today at the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, here.

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, the meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Khalid Hussain Malik.

At the outset, the Deputy Registrar presented a brief video showcasing the success stories of Cooperative Societies in District Srinagar.

The chair was apprised about the various activities and initiatives to be undertaken by the Department of Cooperatives during the course of the year as part of ‘International Year of Cooperatives’ celebrations.

On the occasion, the ADC stressed the Committee members to expedite all Cooperative development initiatives and ensure seamless coordination among Departments for the effective implementation of cooperative schemes.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Srinagar, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies (DRCS) Srinagar and other members of DCDC.
