Omar Govt committed for youth empowerment, economic revival: Sadhotra
Lawmakers should play positive role in impending Assembly Session: Rattan Lal Gupta
Jammu, February 28: Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra former minister and Additional General Secretary JKNC said in his address, stating that the Central Government has consistently failed to address the concerns of J&K’s youth. He pointed out that hollow policies and lack of employment opportunities over the last decade have severely impacted the future of young people in the region.

Ajay Kumar Sadhotra further added that the present government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, is committed to reversing this trend by implementing policies that will generate employment and boost economic growth. He called upon the newly inducted members to work with dedication and spread the party’s vision among the masses. He reaffirmed the commitment of party leadership to fighting for the rights of the people and ensuring holistic development in Jammu and Kashmir.
The senior NC leader was speaking during a joining programme held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu. The joining programme was organized under the leadership of Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, Provincial President Jammu Province YNC in which several enthusiastic youth joined the party fold.
Speaking on the occasion, Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu Province JKNC stressed that the upcoming session is an opportunity for lawmakers to raise pressing public issues, including unemployment, economic distress, plight of farmers, existing industries, etc. He urged all political parties to focus on policy-driven debates for the benefit and wellbeing of the people as the upcoming session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, convening after a period of seven years, holds immense significance for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have high expectations from their elected representatives.
Rattan Lal Gupta further assured that the National Conference government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, is committed to presenting a people-friendly budget that will directly address the concerns of the youth, unemployed population, farmers, industrial sector, focusing to health and education sectors and would cover all sections of the society as well as business community. He reiterated that the National Conference has always worked for the welfare of the people and will continue to prioritize their needs.
Welcoming the new entrants, Sardar Tejinder Singh Aman Provincial President Jammu Province YNC urged them to work diligently for strengthening the Party’s base at the grassroots level. He highlighted that youth play a crucial role in shaping the future of J&K and must be active participants in the democratic process.
Among those who joined the party fold namely: Ravi Kumar social worker and President of Matador Union Ramnagar, Abdul Razaq Banday and Irshad Ahmad, Youth leaders of Ramnagar.
