Katrina Kaif Unveils First Poster of Movie Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupati and Netizens are excited!

Katrina Kaif unveiled the first poster of her upcoming movie Merry Christmas in which she stars with Vijay Sethupathi. The movie is directed by Sriram Raghavan. It is a thriller which will be released in theatres in 2023 in two languages- Hindi and Tamil. Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi are coming together onscreen for the first time.

Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram handle to share the poster of the movie and captioned it, “We wanted to release the film this Christmas…but there is a TWIST 🙂 See you in cinemas soon!” The poster depicts that there is something fishy in the movie, as two glasses are shown as breaking while cheering. One hand holding the glass is that of Katrina Kaif and the other one is of Vijay Sethupathi.

Netizens are waiting to watch the movie, and as soon as Katrina Kaif dropped the poster on her Instagram profile, netizens flooded the comment section. “Can’t wait”, a person commented, followed by heart emojis. “this is going to be your best film i just know it”, commented another. “It’s surely exciting”, commented the third one. “Cannot wait for this banger of a combo!” commented another, followed by a heart and fire emoji.

The director of the film, Sriram Raghavan, is known for his thrillers, and this upcoming film is another suspense film with a twist. Vijay Sethupathi is an actor and producer who predominantly works in Tamil movies. His recent movies are Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vikram, Maamanithan, 19(1)(a), Rambo (Ranjankudi Anbarasu, DSP and Kadaisi Vivasayi. Further, he is working on many projects.

In July, Katrina Kaif shared a few glimpses from the sets of Merry Christmas during the shooting. She was rehearsing with Vijay Sethupathi and Sriram Raghavan and captioned it, “New Beginnings 💛BACK ON SET 🎥 with director #sriramraghavan for Merry Christmas! I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honor to be directed by him. .
