“Rs 32,000 crore worth of projects approved…”: UP CM Yogi in Sarojini Nagar
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], March 10 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday attended the Sarojini Nagar Solar Dialogue and Development Exhibition in Lucknow and said that Rs 32,000 crore worth of projects have been approved or are already being worked upon in the Sarojininagar area.
“Rs 32,000 crore worth of projects have been approved or are already being worked upon in the Sarojini Nagar area. A new convention centre will be built at a cost of Rs 1200 crore in this constituency. A Defence Corridor is also being established in this area,” CM Yogi said.
He further said that UP’s first forensic institute has also been established here, and it will play a crucial role in criminal investigations.
CM Yogi emphasised that a public representative must be committed to serving the people selflessly.
“A dedicated representative with sensitivity can achieve a lot. However, to bring a real change, one must rise above personal gains and dedicate themselves to public welfare,” CM Yogi said.
CM Yogi further said that Rs 2.5 crore farmers in the state are benefiting from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
Earlier on Sunday, CM Yogi reviewed the progress of Major Dhyanchand Sports University’s construction and held a meeting to assess the ongoing infrastructure projects in the city.
The Chief Minister stated that the sports university being established in Meerut will play a significant role in advancing sports activities across Uttar Pradesh.
Emphasising Meerut’s rapid development, CM Yogi credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for enhancing the city’s connectivity over the past decade.
Highlighting the government’s focus on sports infrastructure, CM Yogi noted that Meerut is home to the state’s first sports university, named after hockey legend Major Dhyanchand.
