SMVDU’s Anand Raj Brings Laurels to the University

Anand Raj, a third-year BBA Finance student at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi
University (SMVDU), has brought laurels for the University. He secured 1st
position in the prestigious Negotiation Competition organized by the Indian
Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu. Competing in The Mafia Boardroom –
Negotiation Challenge, Anand displayed exceptional strategic thinking,
persuasive communication, and problem-solving abilities, outperforming
participants from top B-schools.

His ability to analyze complex situations and
negotiate effectively led him to a well-earned victory. Anand Raj, also has made
the University proud by securing the 1st Runner-Up position in the Shark Tank
MBA Edition – Pitch Your Idea competition organized by IIM Jammu.  Competing
against some of the brightest minds from top business schools, Anand impressed
the judges with his entrepreneurial acumen, innovative business idea, and
confident pitch. His ability to present and defend his concept with clarity and
conviction earned him well-deserved recognition in the prestigious competition.

This achievement reflects Anand’s creativity, dedication, and passion for
business, further strengthening SMVDU’s reputation in the field of management
education. The Head, School of Business along with faculty members
congratulated Anand on this remarkable accomplishment and wishes him
continued success in his entrepreneurial journey. Prof. Pragati Kumar, Vice-
