DC inaugurates Blood Donation Camp at SDH Bhaderwah
Reviews Preparations for Upcoming Mega Surgical Camp
BHADERWAH (DODA), APRIL 9: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh today inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, organized by the 33 Battalion CRPF in collaboration with hospital Management. The initiative aimed to support the upcoming Mega Surgical Camp by ensuring an adequate supply of blood for patients undergoing surgeries.

The event was attended Chairman DDC Dhananter Singh; Deputy DDC Bhaderwah Thakur Yudhvir Singh; ADC Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal; Director (Dentistry) DHS Jammu Dr. Sanjay Sharma; CMO Dr. Om Kumar; Deputy CMO Dr. S.L. Manhas; Tehsildar Bhaderwah Kamalpreet Singh, and BMO Bhaderwah Dr. Mohammad Ashraf.
During the camp, 25 units of blood were donated by CRPF personnel. The DC appreciated the humanitarian gesture of the CRPF men and commended their dedication towards community welfare.
Later, the DC chaired a meeting to assess the preparations for the Mega Surgical Camp scheduled from April 16 to 23, 2025 at SDH Bhaderwah and the Associated Hospital GMC Doda. The meeting focused on key provisions such as logistics management, mobilization of specialist teams, medical equipment readiness, and public awareness campaigns to ensure smooth execution of the camp.
The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and called upon all stakeholders to work in synergy for the success of this major health initiative. The upcoming camp is expected to offer vital surgical care to underserved communities across the region.
