CHC Surankote qualifies for Bronze Quality Certificate under AB-PMJAY Ayushman Bharat

POONCH, APRIL 9: The Community Health Centre (CHC) Surankote has qualified for the Bronze Quality Certificate under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).

The program, initiated by the National Health Authority (NHA), represents the first step in a three-tier certification initiative aimed at enhancing patient safety and the quality care in hospitals across India.

CHC Surankote is the first community health centre in the Peer Panjal region and the second hospital in the district after RSSDH Poonch, to achieve this prestigious certification. The accomplishment highlights the commitment of local healthcare providers to uphold and exceed national standards for patient care.

District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal praised the exceptional efforts of the health department, stating, “This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our healthcare team. I congratulate everyone involved in reaching this significant milestone.” DDC Kundal specifically acknowledged the contribution of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan; Block Medical Officer Surankote Dr. Mohd Yousf; District Coordinator Ayushman Bharat: Dr. Tanveer and the entire health team at Surankote.

Their collective efforts have been instrumental in achieving this recognition in the healthcare sector.
