DIC Pulwama conducts Awareness/ Outreach programme on Udyam Registration

PULWAMA, APRIL 19: District Industries Centre (DIC), Pulwama, conducted an awareness-cum-outreach programme on Udyam Registration under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) programme today at Circuit House, Pulwama

The programme was chaired by General Manager, DIC Pulwama, and Officers from various line departments including Lead District Manager, Pulwama; District Coordinator, CSC, Pulwama, as well as representative JKTPO (SPOC)-JK, Functional Managers and other officials from DIC Pulwama were present in the programme. 

A total of 115 beneficiaries from across the sectors, PM Vishwakarma, PMEGP and Industrial unit holders registered with DIC Pulwama attended the programme.

In his inaugural address, General Manager, DIC, Pulwama sensitized participants and stakeholders about the significance of the MSME sector in the economy of Jammu & Kashmir, emphasizing the vital role of Udyam Registration in enabling businesses and industrial establishments to grow in collaboration with the government and its flagship schemes.

The process flow and benefits of Udyam Registration were explained to the participants through a detailed PowerPoint presentation that underscored RAMP’s role in strengthening the resilience, innovation, and sustainability of MSMEs. Key focus areas included access to financial support, technology upgradation and capacity building initiatives under the RAMP framework.

The event included a Q&A segment wherein entrepreneurs raised queries about documentation, sector-specific incentives, and challenges in navigating the Udyam portal.

On the occasion, Lead District Manager Pulwama, representative JKTPO (SPOC)-JK, District Coordinator and CSC Pulwama also interacted with the participants, highlighting the benefits of registration.
