Ranvijay Singh expresses deep grief over Ramban tragedy

Jammu, April 20: Ranvijay Singh, the great-grandson of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and devastation caused by the recent cloudburst and flash floods in the Ramban district.

In a statement issued today, Ranvijay Singh said, “My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones in this unfortunate natural calamity. The incident in Dharamkund, where three precious lives were lost due to a sudden cloudburst, is deeply distressing.”

He urged the administration to act with urgency and compassion. “Timely assistance and compensation must reach the affected families. Restoration of road connectivity and essential services must be the immediate priority,” he asserted.

Paying homage to the victims, he reiterated the need for enhanced disaster preparedness and resilient infrastructure in vulnerable regions like Ramban. “Our response systems must match the magnitude of such calamities to prevent further loss in future,” he added.
