District Administration Samba orchestrates National Panchayati Raj Day Commemoration

SAMBA, APRIL 24: District Administration Samba marked the National Panchayati Raj Day 2025 by organizing an impactful event with overwhelming participation across all levels of local governance.


The district-level celebration, spearheaded by District Development Commissioner Rajesh Sharma and coordinated by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Nar Singh Dayal Verma, brought together district officials, Panchayati Raj Institution members, youth leaders, women representatives, and diverse community stakeholders in a powerful demonstration of inclusive governance.


Attendees participated in a live broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address, which emphasized the transformative potential of self-reliant local governance systems. Following directives from district leadership, Block Development Officers ensured the Prime Minister’s message reaches every Panchayat through synchronized broadcasts, creating a cascading effect of engagement throughout rural communities.


“Today’s celebration represents more than ceremonial observance—it showcases our collective resolve to build transparent, accountable rural institutions that truly serve citizen needs,” said DDC Sharma during the event.
