Center issues advisory to the media to refrain from live coverage of Defense operations

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued an advisory directing all media channels, agencies, and social media users to refrain from real-time coverage or dissemination of visuals related to defence operations and movement of security forces. Citing national security concerns, the advisory stresses adherence to Rule 6(1) of Cable TV Networks Rules, 2021.
