Awareness campaign on water conservation, rain water harvesting held across Kupwara schools

KUPWARA, APRIL 29: In line with the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, a week-long awareness campaign on water conservation and rain water harvesting was successfully conducted across all high and higher secondary schools of district Kupwara.


The programme featured a range of engaging and educational activities, including seminars, workshops, debates, painting competitions, and expert talks, aimed at sensitizing students and the wider community about the critical importance of water conservation.
About 350 colorful activities were conducted in all educational institutions of the district. Through these initiatives, participants were made aware that water is not only a vital natural resource but also essential for sustaining life on earth.
Chief Education Officer (CEO) and District Education Planning Officer (DEPO) Kupwara appreciated the Heads of Institutions (HOIs) for their active role in organizing and conducting the week-long activities.
