Anti-Hijack Drill conducted by NSG at Jammu Airport

JAMMU March 25: A Full Fledged Anti-Hijack Drill was conducted by NSG at Jammu Airport on 24 Mar with the activation of Anti Hijack committee at AF Stn Jammu. This exercise involved all key stakeholders from Indian Air Force, AAI, UT govt, JKP, CISF & other key players.

The drill involved an entire spectrum of events incl negotiations with hijackers followed by intervention & overpowering of hijackers by a potent team of NSG. It gave unique opportunity to validate processes by inter agencies during such a crisis & bringing valuable lessons & trg.
