Health screening camp organised for employees of Jammu DC Office
JAMMU, March 25: Office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu, in collaboration with Samvedna Society and Medanta Hospital Gurgaon, organised a free health screening camp for its employees today. The camp was organised by Chairman of Samvedna Society, Keshav Chopra. A medical team of experts, including a physician and a physiotherapist, examined the staff.
The camp was inaugurated by Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Chander, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Law & Order), Harvinder Singh and Assistant Commissioner General, Manisha Angral.
The motive of the camp was to provide the best health services to the employees of the Deputy Commissioner’s office at their doorstep. More than 90 patients were examined by the physician and about 45 by the physiotherapist.
Ramesh Chander appreciated the efforts of Samvedna Society and said that organisations like it play an important role in providing help and care to people at their doorstep. Harvinder Singh highlighted the importance of routine health check-ups and praised the society’s initiative to provide voluntary services to employees.
Manisha Angral appreciated the efforts of Samvedna Society and said that organising a health camp for employees is true service. Keshav Chopra said that Samvedna Society is always ready to work for common people and assured that it will continue to conduct free medical camps for needy people in the future.
