GDC Khaltse organises orientation programme on New Education Policy
LEH, March 29: An orientation programme on New Education Policy (NEP) was organised byGovernment Degree College Khaltse at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Temisgam on March 29.
A team of seven faculty members was led by Coordinator, NEP, GDC-Khaltse, Stanzin Deldan
The NEP orientation programme was designed to make the students of 12th standard aware of the upcoming challenges, choices and options that they will face while taking admission in the undergraduate programmes in different colleges in Ladakh in the 2023 session.
The speakers from the College gave a detailed introduction to the students regarding subject choice, their options in selecting minor and major subjects, the availability of skill courses, value-added courses and regional as well as international language learning options.
The students were also made aware of the entry/exit options, wherein there is flexibility in the way that they receive a Certificate, a Diploma, a Bachelor’s or a Bachelor’s with Honours.
Later, an interactive session was also held between teachers from GDC Khaltse and students of GHSS Temisgam
