Training held on first aid and basic life support

Leh, March 30: A training on First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for the teachers and students was conducted by the Health Department, Durbuk Block at Residential High School, Sato Kargyam on March 29.

The BLS workshop, which includes learning how to provide CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and other basic life-saving skills, was taught to all the teachers and students through ways of visual medium, practice mannequins, and hand on training. The participants gave positive feedback about the training.

Later, Health Care Workers (HCWs) of the Health Department Durbuk Block presented a First Aid kit box to the school as a gift.
