BJP discuss various programs to be held under Social Justice Week (Samajik Nyay Saptah)
JAMMU, March 31: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leaders discussed various programs to be held under Social Justice Week (Samajik Nyay Saptah) to be observed by BJP from the party’s foundation day on 6th April till birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar on 14th April.
Adv. Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary, BJP, J&K chaired the meeting as Incharge of the committee framed by BJP for the observance of Social Justice. J&K BJP headquarter Incharge Priya Sethi, President BJP SC Morcha Neelam Langeh, Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra, BJYM President Arun Dev Jamwal, OBC Morcha President Sunil Prajapati and others participated in the meeting as the members of the committee held at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Senior BJP leaders as committee members, discussed various programmes listed as 6th of April, on the foundation day of BJP, party’s State Office Bearers, Intellectuals and other prominent will participate in a special programme to be organized at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. On 7th April, Yuva Morcha will organize a felicitation programme. On 8th April ST & Minority will organize various programmes. On 9th April, Kissan Morcha will organize various programmes to promote Millets. On 10th April, Mahila Morcha will organize various programmes. On 11th April-OBC Morcha will celebrate Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti. On 12th April-Medical Cell will organize Medical Camps. On 13th April BJP will conduct Swachhta Abhiyaan and programmes on conservation of Water bodies and Plantation. On 14th April BJP SC Morcha will conduct programmes on Dr. BR Ambedkar Janam Jayanti.
While addressing the meeting, Adv. Vibodh Gupta, prompted the committee members to share the details of programmes already scheduled by the party. Samajik Nyay Saptah will act as a major outreach programme of BJP, with the reach of party leaders and activists to the specific communities and issues. He also inquired about and discussed the framing of various teams at the District and Mandal levels to organize the programmes at the ground level with the involvement and participation of the common masses.
Priya Sethi, speaking in the meeting, asked that the programmes to be done must be all inclusive in nature. She said while the party wants these programmes to be attended by the booth level workers, they must also be joined by the prominent social personalities.
