Gold declines Rs 180; silver jumps Rs 240
New Delhi, April 4 (PTI) Gold price declined Rs 180 to Rs 59,600 per 10 grams in the national capital on Tuesday, according to HDFC Securities.
The precious metal had closed at Rs 59,780 per 10 grams in the previous trade.
Silver, however, jumped Rs 240 to Rs 72,140 per kg.
“Spot gold prices in the Delhi markets traded at Rs 59,600 per 10 grams, down Rs 180 per 10 grams,” Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst – Commodities at HDFC Securities, said.
In the overseas market, both gold and silver were trading higher at USD 1,982 per ounce and USD 24.04 per ounce, respectively.
